WHEREAS, The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act (SAVE ACT),  H.R. 8281 would require documentary proof of citizenship to register to vote.

WHEREAS, The SAVE ACT requirers voters to provide documentary proof of citizenship at the time of registration.

WHEREAS, The SAVE ACT amends the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 by introducing a requirement for individuals to provide proof of US citizenship when registering to vote in federal elections, and

WHEREAS, Eligible documents include a specified list in the SAVE ACT.

RESOLVED, That the Nevada Federation of Republican Women will support the SAVE ACT, H.R. 8281 by contacting our Representatives in Congress and US President.

RESOLVED, That the Nevada Federation of Republican Women will support a Nevada SAVE ACT by contacting our Assembly, State Senate Representatives and Governor.
